ABOUT BUBALA

Jess Broll Head chef & co owner of Bubala always dreamed of opening a restaurant.

With his business partner Nick Salerno of Stella Blu, that dream has come true.

Nick Salerno has owned Stella Blu Cafe Dee Why Beach since 1992 & Stella Blu Kitchen & Pizzeria Belrose since 2016.

Jess has worked with Nick at both venues for over 10 years with Jess being offered the position of head chef of Stella Blu Kitchen & Pizzeria when it opened.

Bubala was inspired by a great love of food & a wish to offer diners a menu that was both visual & flavoursome & after a few discussions it was decided to showcase Jess’s love of his Jewish heritage & Nick’s Italian background by bringing a modern twist to Israeli Middle Eastern & Mediterranean food.

Bubala is all about healthy quality products & ingredients not just with food but with its large range of beverages.

Bubala serves great coffee from local roasters Little Italy, Momma Kombucha from Brookvale, Cold pressed juices, Smoothies, Fruit Frappe’s, Freezocino Frappes, Milk shakes & more.

Bubala is currently open for Breakfast & Lunch with Dinners to follow in the future.
